Not long ago I figured that blogging is an effective way to promote websites, I decided I should only work on wordpress based blogs, its well known that wordpress is wonderful for automated posting, managing and much more, together with Open Source License make the WordPress the most popular weblog platform on the Internet.

Lately I figured that I should build my own blogs and promote them, then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, and I think its not a patentable idea, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, not to mention I can’t just post to them, probably I will have to pay quite dearly to have my sites promoted.

If you have tried to maintain a few different blogs you will know its not easy, if you’re not going to just put spams on them,to write interesting content is always time consuming, you have to put in time and money to build a successful blog. Check out a couple of interesting blogs, let’s examine this one, Winch Strap, it’s name is pretty cute, and it has a lot of interesting posts, though its not a theme focused blog, there are all kinds of posts on the site. Check this one out, Small Truck Tie Down, this one has main theme, all topics are about same theme, quite a few keywords rank well for this site. there are more sites like these out there, though I guess you get the point already. One more important point, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, put some random content on those blogs occasionally, take one blog as example, hand tool, doing this right you will have a natural blogging networks.

If you have a few established blogs already, add more blogs when you can, the old blogs will be helpful in promoting your newly built ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. Of course its just the beginning, to build a successful network will be much more complicated, there’s one thing you do have to remember is that don’t ruin your hard work just because you want to cut a few corners.
